About Us

Turning green spaces into healing spaces โ€” one tree, one life, one empowered community at a time.

Community

Our Story

We are a community-driven organization transforming health, gender, and climate action into one powerful movement.

We empower the vulnerable, women and girls, the youth, those affected by cancer and communities in general through eco-landscaping, tree planting, agro-forestry and wellness programs that heal both people and the planet.

Our work aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • ๐ŸŽ—๏ธ SDG 3: Promoting good health, cancer awareness, and mental well-being
  • ๐ŸŒธ SDG 5: Advancing gender equality and womenโ€™s leadership
  • ๐ŸŒ SDG 13: Driving climate action and building community resilience

By turning green spaces into healing spaces, we nurture resilience, inspire hope, and grow healthier, more sustainable futures โ€” one tree, one life, and one empowered community at a time.

"Wangari Maathai taught us that planting trees is not just an act of environmentalism โ€” itโ€™s a radical step toward justice, dignity, and empowerment." We draw from this philosophy, recognizing that a healthy planet and healthy people are interconnected. By integrating the three SDGs, TFC addresses the physical, emotional, and educational needs of vulnerable communities through girls and women, the youth and thus reaching communities in general to fostering a generation of resilient leaders and people who can thrive despite adversity.
